Sarah Love is a believer in possibilities, change and hope. Since graduating from New Mexico State University, Sarah has used her business degree working for fortune 500 companies, startups, and her own entrepreneurial endeavors. Not one to accept the way things have always been done, Sarah created Rune Comics to foster positive social change and growth towards creating a reality in which we can all embrace the anomaly within ourselves.
Dirk McDougal is a writer, a stay at home dad, and a student of sequential art. He decided to write comics after reading the first page of Alan Moore's, Saga of the Swamp Thing. He currently lives in Albuquerque with his wife, Ariel, and his son, Finn.
Jamie Moran is a strategic consultant that specializes in helping creative entrepreneurs identify their vision, overcome challenges and put systems into place to validate concepts and scale their business fast. He works with online business owners, tech startups, authors, speakers, coaches and consultants. He earned a Business Management Degree from the University of British Columbia and has worked with a variety of for-profits, non-profits and social enterprises.
Joey is a comic book writer and letterer who works under the banner RKL Studios. He grew up a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, but his world changed forever when he discovered Eastman and Laird’s original run of Ninja Turtle comics. Since then he has not only found a love of reading comics but has developed a passion for working on them. Joey resides in Massachusetts with his wife, and daughter.
Leigh Jeffery is a Canadian comic book illustrator with over 17 years of experience working as a professional artist in one form or another. Past indie projects include “Fantasy Killer”, “Ultrina” and “Mad Brian”. Leigh is also the founder of the Hub for Indie Comics - ComixCentral and is a proud indie advocate. Her love of comics grew from her passion for comic book art, citing Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane and the Kubert family amongst her earliest artistic obsessions. She currently lives in Calgary, Alberta with her husband , Lee and their 2 children; who all share a love of Comics, Manga and nerd culture in general.
Chris is a writer, speaker, performer and maker of heroes. His passion for storytelling and desire for change has paved the way for a seamless blend of entertainment and honesty in comics. His love of Bob Kane (Batman) and Stan Lee (X-Men) were the beginnings of a natural desire to save the world. Unfortunately, he’s merely a man. Thankfully, he knows that heroism is simply another word for humanity and the neverending story of their potential.
Andre is a musician / writer / producer from Tokyo, primarily working and performing with independent musicians. While music takes up a good chunk of his daily life, other passions include watching far too many horror movies, low/no-budget movie-making, and drawing. As a lifelong fan of Transformers and anything robotic, he has an obsession for action figures and toys and most definitely does not
have fun setting up giant battles with them when no one is around.
